Kailynn VanHoesen

Clinician & Director

Hello My Name is Kailynn VanHoesen MSW, LISW, ADHD-CCS, CCTP-II

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with a deep passion for helping individuals and couples navigate trauma, mental health challenges, and the complexities of relationships. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Baylor University and hold an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Certificate as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II credential with a specialization in Complex Trauma.

I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, couples and marriage issues, C-PTSD and PTSD, OCD, BPD, ADHD, complex grief, anxiety, and depression.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and firmly rooted in trauma-informed care. I primarily draw from Psychodynamic Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while also integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy when appropriate. This integrative approach allows us to explore the deeper patterns shaping your experiences while also developing practical tools to help you navigate daily life more effectively.

I believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. Every person’s story is unique, and treatment should reflect that. I work closely with each client to develop an individualized treatment plan that honors both where they have been and where they want to go. I genuinely believe in my clients’ capacity for healing and growth, and it is a privilege to walk alongside them in that process.

If you are looking to heal from past experiences, strengthen your relationships, or gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to support you. Beginning therapy takes courage, and choosing to show up for yourself is something to be proud of. My commitment is to offer a space grounded in compassion, understanding, and genuine care. I invite you to reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit.
