I am a licensed professional counselor and certified yoga teacher. I received my B.S. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Counselor Education from Ohio University. I view therapy as a safe space for clients to be seen and heard just as they are—with care, empathy, and without judgment.
I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My approach is both eclectic and trauma-informed, integrating different modalities to meet each client’s specific needs. Through a compassionate and person-centered lens, I utilize CBT, DBT, SFT, energy psychology, somatics, mindfulness, creative arts in therapy, grief therapy, narrative therapy, executive function coaching, and play therapy techniques.
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults with ADHD, those facing phase-of-life challenges, depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, personality disorders, and individuals working through trauma.
My practice is grounded in affirming and celebrating gender diversity, neurodivergence, and LGBTQIA+ identities. My goal is for you to feel safe, validated, and cared for, and to leave sessions with tools you can use outside of the therapy space.
I incorporate a mind–body perspective, recognizing how the nervous system, emotions, and physical experiences interact. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported, and where we work collaboratively to meet your therapy goals and needs.
Services are provided under clinical supervision as required by the Ohio CSWMFT Board. Supervision is provided by Scott Campbell, LPCC-S (Supervisor License #E.1700477-SUPV).
