Katherine Cordier

Clinician

Kat is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing since 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. She is currently under supervision until 2026 by Shannon Miller, LPCC-S (E.0008334-SUPV).


With a decade of experience in higher education and community mental health, Kat has worked with a diverse adult population, supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, career transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, and life adjustments.


Kat believes that counseling is both a science and an art, requiring a flexible and individualized approach. She integrates various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, and mindfulness, tailoring her methods to each client's unique needs. She is passionate about fostering self-awareness, social insight, and personal growth, helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.


Known for her empathy, warmth, and ability to balance optimism with realism, Kat creates a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. She is a strong advocate for holistic wellness, continuous self-improvement, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.


Outside of work, Kat enjoys spending time with her dogs and exploring new places in Cleveland, Ohio.
